With the front of the car extended, the next thing I had to do was re-make/re-mould the Zeemax front arches.  The first thing was to fit the front bumper in place (temporarily)  and the side skirts, this was so I could line part of the arches up. I cut the arches in two so I could line each line up and held it in place with some clamps. With the clamps in place I could start to re-make the arches. (see pictures)

As you can see the gap I had was about 90mm, so I used thin pieces of wood to fit the gap so I could lay fibreglass on top of it, then I could remove them once the fibreglass had gone hard. The next two pictures show the arches removed from the car. Once I removed the arches from the car I placed fibreglass over the thin pieces of wood (as I could not remove them) this gave the arches more strength. Bottom left picture shows the top side of the arch and bottom of the arch. The other picture shows one of the arches in primer and the others not.

Once they were primed I temporarily fitted them back to the car. From the pictures the car may look like it is sitting very high but it isn't - remember I have still got to put the engine in and then it will lower itself.
