The next thing I now how to find was an engine and after a few phone calls and not a lot of luck, I ring Geoff Watson, on the 17-07-2003 I  just pick put the 1.6 Vtec engine from Geoff I paid £1100. Which is not too bad for what I got, it's only done 6500 miles and it only just 3 years old (so I was told), all I have to get now for the engine is the DTA management system which will cost £880.

The table below lists some of the 1.6 Honda engines which you can fit into the car. Please do not hold me to the figs given in the table. You can fit some of the 1.8 Vtec engines too. The one in red is the engine which I have.

Engine No.

With the frame now on the car the new front end could be put on, now the car is fitted with a k-series frame the front has to be made longer by 90mm. As you can see from the pictures it's now got the front end back on. The drives side is all done bar from a bit of sanding down.  The passengers side has got the two parts of the wings on and they have been cut roughly, the next thing which needs doing to them is lining up and welding together.  As the wings are 90mm longer there are no inner wings, so all the welding which is done on the front is seam welded including the a-panels, to gave it a bit more stiffness.
