With the car now having a Vtec engine fitted the front of the car had to be made longer by 90mm. I brought a 90mm longer bonnet from Watson's but it did not have a air vents in it, I had to have some thing different, I already had the Evo and Majic bonnet so I came up with the idea of blending the Evo bonnet and the 90mm longer bonnet together. After 4 days of cutting, shaping, gluing, sanding, painting etc I ended up with a 90mm longer Evo bonnet. (see pictures, the first pictures show a 90mm longer bonnet and a standard size mini Evo bonnet, the next two pictures show the 90mm longer bonnet but now as an Evo one).

TIPS: If you are thinking of building Honda powered mini using a Watson's frame do not fit the frame to the car until you have at least got the top and the bottom arms in place the Hi-Lo with spring, I had to remove the frame from the car to fit them, making life a lot easier. Also do not buy wide wheels like I did because they will not fit under the arches, I believe the widest you can fit is 5" may be 6" (see the pictures, the red line through the wheel shows how much of the wheel will stick out past the arches when fitted).

Once the frame is back on the car fit the brakes and any other parts which you have not yet fitted and put the wheels on. (see pictures)
