With the dash layout sorted and the seat sub frames made and fitted, I now had to work out what I was going to do with the wheels, the only thing I could do was to order a new set. I remembered seeing a set on a car which was owned by a lad called Toney Wells. After a bit of surfing the net I came across a web site call www.16vminiclub.com which Tony was a member of, so all I had to do was find out were he get them and get some, the only thing was the wheels where made to order for him by a company call Components Automotives 73 Limited, so I got them to make me a set after 8 weeks waiting my new wheels arrived 2 weeks late (see pictures)

With the wheel problem now sorted I could start on the engine. With me have a custom made fuel tank now made because the right hand tank I have got stolen I had the fuel fillers filled in. I decide to have a radiator and a few other parts made at the same time, header tank washer bottle and a brake cover.
With most of the work now done I started to think about the DTA ECU and the wiring, with me paying £880 + Vat for the unit I decide it would be best if I got some one else wire it in and do all the wiring on the car, so I took the car up to Geoff Wastsons. After a few week I had the car back all up and running. (see pictures).
